Food systems managementis an applied science involving the application of scientific principles to create healthy, nutritious, safe and convenient foods for consumers. Ohio is an industry leader in fruit and vegetable processing, animal foods, dairy production and bakeries. Our program prepares students for technical and leadership positions to meet the growing job opportunities in these and other subsectors in the food manufacturing industry. Unique class offerings integrates principles of agriculture, food science and management enabling students to understand both the science and the business of food.
