Education Events for the Community

The Teacher Education Department at the Lake Campus strives to connect to the community in a positive way.  Numerous times a year events are held for community members ranging from small children to retired teachers.

  • Christmas Around the World with Celina 3rd grade: December 2nd (not open to the public) 
  • Christmas Around the World with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer/Auglaize Counties and Faculty/Staff: December 5th (not open to the public)


STEM Related Events

S.T.E.M. is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. The Lake Campus is committed to offering STEM opportunities to school aged students through events that promote critical thinking through hands-on activities.

The following events are pre-organized between the Lake Campus and schools or organizations.
