Orientation for Fall 2019 has concluded!

Lake Campus offers Orientation once a year, during the summer. Students can still start Fall 2019, and you will meet individually with an Academic Advisor to discuss your major, class schedule, and campus resources. Call (419) 586-0300 to schedule your appointment!

Fall Semester 2019

Fall classes begin August 26, 2019.

What information to have when you call:

When you call to schedule your advising appointment, we will ask for your:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Wright State email address (lastname.#@wright.edu)
  • Major
  • Status (New spring start, transfer, College Credit Plus)
  • Reason for appointment (Schedule fall classes)

To retrieve your Wright State email address, log in to wright.edu/apply with the email and password you used to apply to the university. Under Next Steps, click on Access your Student Portal. Follow the steps to reset the PIN and password for your accounts. Make sure to write down your UID, campus username, and email address. (If you have already accessed it but want to view it again, click on Display your Wright State Account Information.) You will need all of this information during your advising appointment. Visit the CaTS website for further information about your Wright State accounts.

What you can do now:

Become familiar with your Wright State accounts. You will need to access your accounts often as a Wright State student. We recommend you spend time becoming familiar with your different accounts now, so you can navigate them easily once classes start. If you need assistance with WINGS Express, visit CaTS Student Support page for step-by-step instructions.

Check your financial aid status. If you plan to use federal financial aid to help pay for classes, you will need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you've already submitted your FAFSA, you can check your status in WINGS Express under Student and Financial Aid, then Financial Aid and Scholarships. You might have outstanding requirements, such as verification, so it's important to make sure all requirements are satisfied. For additional information about your award notice, visit the Raider Connect website.

Apply for Lake Campus housingIf you plan to live on campus, you will need to apply separately. You will find the application in your WINGS Express, or through a link in your admissions portal. Assignments will be made according to the time and date of application for students who have submitted a complete application with pre-payment, so apply early!
