Wright State University is among a small number of colleges offering free, lifetime career services to all students and alumni. Whether you are just starting out, looking to expand your network, or thinking of making a change, learn how Career Services can help you. Students and alumni can access helpful information to prepare résumés and cover letters, prepare for interviews, gain experience through different employment opportunities, and participate in various Career Services events. We have resources available to help new students explore career options including job-shadow opportunities that focus on specific career interests. We can help students and alumni keep their job-search skills fresh.

- Job Prep Tool Kit Workshop Topics covered include resumes, interview attire, video interview etiquette as well as Handshake and additional resources.
- Handshake—Find student employment jobs, internships, fellowships, career positions, and more. In Handshake, you can upload your résumé, and create your profile that you can use to apply for opportunities and potential employers can use to find you.

Take Your Self-Assessment
Take your self-assessment, TypeFocus, to help assess your personality, figure out your interests and goals, and narrow down some career options that may appeal to you. With this assessment, you can learn about careers that fit your personality and interests, compare different career fields or jobs, and learn more about what your own goals are.
