The business administration program is designed to develop successful and ethical business leaders with a cross-functional understanding of the total business environment and the vision to see opportunities in the global marketplace. You will apply the theories learned in the classroom to workplace challenges, learn to collaborate and work effectively in teams across and within functional areas, enhance your communication skills, sharpen critical and analytical thinking, deepen your ethical decision-making in business contexts, and proactively anticipate rapidly changing business challenges in a global economy.
This program gives you a broad base to move easily into programs focused on accountancy, finance, marketing, management, and economics.

The student who earns this degree may have an interest in many different jobs or in continuing on to a bachelor’s degree. Jobs in the banking industry, computers, retail and manufacturing environments, finance, insurance, and real estate are among many possibilities. The associate program gives you a foundation for entry-level jobs in a variety of business sectors or prepares you for further education in a bachelor's program and even a graduate program in business fields. You can transfer seamlessly to nearly any business program at the Wright State University—Lake Campus or Dayton Campus.
We arm our students with the knowledge and experiences they need to transition from student to professional. Students gain hands-on experience through a variety of community-based programs, service-learning opportunities, internships, and research projects.

If you are a current student and wish to change majors, go to the WINGS Express major/minor change request form and change your major. If you are an undecided/exploratory student, talk to your advisor about majoring in business and administration.
