The Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Technology program provides comprehensive training in modern manufacturing processes and technologies. With concentrations in equipment service, operations, and robotics, the program equips you with specialized skills tailored to your career goals.
You will gain hands-on experience in areas such as CNC machining, lean manufacturing, and robotics, preparing you to excel in diverse roles within the manufacturing industry. As a graduate of the program, you will be prepared to support, optimize, and innovate within dynamic industrial environments.

When you earn an A.A.S. in Manufacturing Technology at Wright State, you will be prepared for a career with a wide range of responsibilities from diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues in industrial equipment to designing and implementing strategies to streamline manufacturing operations and enhance productivity.
We arm you with the knowledge and experiences you need to transition from student to professional. You will gain hands-on experience through a variety of community-based programs, service-learning opportunities, internships, and research projects.
After earning the necessary 16 hours of Wright State’s core requirements, you will earn 32 credit hours of program-specific courses, and 12 credit hours of a general elective, totaling 60 credit hours to earn your diploma.
