Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony

Congratulations, you made it! Your hard work and commitment have paid off, and now is the time to celebrate your graduation from Wright State University’s Lake Campus!
The Lake Campus hosts one annual commencement ceremony exclusively for Lake Campus students. Eligible students who will receive Lake Campus degrees and have applied for graduation may choose to participate in the Lake Campus Commencement. The ceremony often includes an address from our Vice Provost and Wright State University President, as well as an Alumni Speaker and the conferral of degrees.
Graduate RSVP
Graduates will receive an email from gretchen.rentz@wright.edu with information on how to RSVP for Commencement. Expect this email by March 15.
Guest Tickets
Each Graduate will be allotted guest tickets for the event. Graduates will be notified of the number of tickets for their guests and pick up information by April 15, 2025. Tickets will be available for pickup starting on campus. Graduates must show their Wright 1 Card or Driver’s License to obtain their tickets. We ask that all tickets are picked up prior to Commencement.
Please note, all family and guests MUST present a ticket to enter the facility. Graduates do not need a ticket. Talk with your family and guests about this ahead of time to inform them tickets are needed. No ticket exchanges will be permitted, and no additional tickets will be available. Additionally, family and guests can view the ceremony via Facebook LIVE. Encourage them to like the Wright State University Lake Campus Facebook page and enjoy the ceremony.
Caps and Gowns
All participants must wear a cap, gown, and have a tassel. Visit Laker Landing for all of your Commencement needs—either in person or online! See the link below for both products and available hours:
- Nursing - Apricot
- Lake Campus Associate degrees or Graduate Studies - Black
- Business Administration - Drab Brown
- Education and Human Services - Light Blue
- Lake Campus Technical (Bachelor's) - Gold
- Engineering and Computer Science - Orange or Yellow
- Liberal Arts - White
- Science and Mathematics (includes bachelor's psychology) - Yellow

Applying for Graduation
Follow these steps:
- Log in to WINGS.
- Select Student Academics under My Launchpad.
- Select Apply for Graduation.

Duplicate Diplomas
Request a duplicate diploma. There is a $35 fee.
