Services Supporting Small Businesses in our Region

Wright State University-Lake Campus has partnered with The Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Rhodes State College(RSC) and will be offering small business advising on the Lake campus. For over 30 years, the Ohio Small Business Development Center at RSC has accelerated business growth, helped create jobs, and provided consulting to existing and new start-up businesses.

The Certified Business Advisors® that staff the SBDC offer integrated services to meet the needs of experienced small business owners, as well as individual entrepreneurs. The SBDC works with entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages of business development that have fewer than 500 employees.

If you are a small business (under 500 employees) and attend the series you are eligible for Pitchfest and can win a cash prizes!

 

Pitchfest

May 23, 2023
4–8pm
Rhodes State College - Borra Center

In order to participate in Pitchfest:

  • Submit a written business plan
  • Summary (3-5 sentences) of why you want to pitch
  • Send to PITCHFEST@LIMACHAMBER.com no later than May 15, 2023

Additional Information

  • There is a start-up category and an emerging category. The start-up category is for all entrepreneurs that want to receive funding to start a new business.
  • The emerging category is for any business already in operation for 1-3 years.
  • The competition will award over $6,000 worth of cash and prizes.
