About the Business Enterprise Center

The Business Enterprise Center (BEC) at Wright State University—Lake Campus provides free, comprehensive counseling and management training to new and existing small businesses.

Goals:

  • Promote and support entrepreneurs with experienced business consultants in many areas pertaining to business operations.
  • Assist agencies and organizations especially those located in our service area of Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert Counties.
  • Be a conduit and provider of essential business training and development in West Central Ohio.
  • Provide a confidential, practical asset to the business community (we do not take the place of your accountant or lawyer, but we can help minimize those costs).
  • Provide advanced technical training in specialized areas of manufacturing with a blend of online classes and hands-on validation labs.

High-quality, customized business and industry training is available through the Business Enterprise Center at a reasonable cost. We have access to a wide range of experts in fields as diverse as supervisory training to PLC training. Please contact Carol Jones for more information. We partner with federal, state and local agencies, as well as being a member of several training consortiums.
