Former Lake Campus Student Honored by Wright State University

CELINA, OH – Thomas Rable of Celina, OH was recently recognized at the 17th Annual College Outstanding Alumni Awards presentation held at the Wright State University Nutter Center. During the ceremony, each college recognizes former students who have gone on to make exceptional contributions to their professional fields while giving back to their communities.

After completing his first two years at the Lake Campus, Rable graduated from Wright State University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in accounting and finance.  Rable has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1988 and is currently the Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning at Celina Aluminum Precision Technology Inc. (CAPT).

In 2008-2009 the Lake Campus went through a major renovation and construction project.  During that time, Rable championed CAPT’s $250,000 gift towards the renovation of science labs on campus.  Having state-of-the-art science labs has helped bring programs such as engineering, nursing and business to the Lake Campus.

Rable has also been actively engaged and supportive of the Lake Campus SkillsTrac Program, which enhances and certifies the skills and talents of area industry. He has also been active in his community of Celina, OH.
