CELINA, OH – On Thursday, February 21, 2019 the Fourth Annual Mercer County Science Day was held at Wright State University – Lake Campus.

Thirty-nine middle and high school students from Marion Local and St. Henry participated in the event. Teachers from these school districts helped mentor their students. These teachers include Laura Post, Marion Local; Jeff Kaup, Marion Local; Margaret Kuck, Marion Local and Angie Wendel, St. Henry.

CELINA, OH – The spring semester for Wright State University – Lake Campus started out strong on Monday, January 14th with record-setting enrollment. On the first day enrollment was 1,459 students, which is a 12.75% increase from spring semester last year and the highest enrollment ever for a spring semester at the Lake Campus. The Wright State Lake campus is focusing on one word right now, “growth”.

This year, Lake Campus has set a record for enrollment with over 1,500 students, plus they have grown the number of degree programs that they offer in the past few years. Part of that growth is a 2.8 million dollar building extension project. The new 7,000 square foot addition that will include a library, science education classroom and research lab, and nursing classrooms.

CELINA, OH – Construction on the Extension Building Project at Wright State University – Lake Campus began this week. This renovation and construction project will add over 7,000 square feet to Andrews Hall and will include a new Library and Technology Center, Nursing Lab and Science Education Lab. The $2.8 million project is slated to be complete by the Fall of 2019.
