CELINA, OH – Wright State University–Lake Campus held its 52nd Annual Commencement Ceremony on Thursday evening, April 25, 2024. Degrees conferred upon the 183 members of the Class of 2024 included 142 bachelor’s degrees and 41 associate degrees. CELINA, OH - On Monday, April 8, 2024 the Lake Campus of Wright State University was within the band of totality for the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Hundreds of faculty, staff, students and visitors enjoyed the historical event on the south lawn of campus. CELINA, OH - On Monday, April 1, 2024 the Lake Campus celebrated eleven cadets graduating from the Lake Campus Police Academy.
These cadets endured over 700 hours of training from August 2023 to April 2024. The classes for the academy occurred four evenings a week and many weekends.
Upon passage of the Ohio Peace Office Training Commission certification exam, these cadets can be police officers in the state of Ohio.
