CELINA, OH – Wright State University – Lake Campus recently held their annual scholarship reception September 13, 2015, in James F. Dicke Hall. For the 2015-2016 academic year, 146 students received 186 scholarships worth $228,699. The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) has awarded over $3.6 million in scholarships since 1965. Awards ranged from a few hundred dollars in book scholarships to full-tuition.
For over fifty years the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) Board has responded to the community’s need for higher education, and they are an integral part of Lake Campus success. The Lake Campus Scholarship Fund would not be in existence without community donations and the tireless efforts of Julie Miller, WOEF Board Development Officer and Sandy Gilbert, Coordinator of the Scholarship Program at the Lake Campus.
