A variety of scholarship opportunities are available to students who attend the Lake Campus. Students coming directly from high school are encouraged to complete the WOEF Scholarship Application process and become admitted to the university by the deadline (prior to their first academic year) in order to be eligible for academic performance scholarships.

The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) has been committed to the success of the Lake Campus and its students for over fifty years and demonstrates this commitment through vast scholarship offerings totaling over $200,000 annually. WOEF scholarships are available for undergraduate direct-from-high-school, and new, current, returning and transfer students who plan to attend the Lake Campus and enroll for the minimum required credit hours.
The Wright State University Foundation Donor-Based Scholarships and Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) have the same online application. By completing this online application you are applying for both scholarship programs! One of the 500 donor-based scholarships supported though the Wright State University Foundation is the Lake Campus Alumni Network Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded exclusively to students at the Lake Campus and ranges in value from $500 to $1,000. The Lake Campus Alumni Network scholarship is made possible by charitable contributions from Lake Campus alumni and civic leaders who understand the importance of higher education and believe in the first-rate education the Lake Campus provides to all students.
The Scholarship Application for the 2019-2020 academic year is now available and is due January 8, 2019. All current and incoming Lake Campus students are strongly encouraged to apply!
How To Access the Scholarship Application
The Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) and Wright State University Foundation Donor-Based Scholarships have the same online application. By completing this online application you are applying for both scholarship programs!
2019 HS Graduates: Login to your Admissions Portal and click on "Complete Online Scholarship Application" under Next Steps. *You must be admitted to the university to have access to the scholarship application. There is a question on the application that asks "Are you at Lake Campus student (registered there for at least 6 credit hours, or planning to)? If you plan to be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at the Lake Campus for the 2019-2020 academic year you will want to say *yes* to this question to be eligible for WOEF Scholarships.
Current Students: In WINGS Express select the Student and Financial Aid tab, then click on Financial Aid and Scholarships, and then click on Online Scholarship Application.
Be sure your online scholarship application is submitted by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 8, 2019.
Wright State University is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to eligible students who enroll directly from high school. These scholarships range from $2,000 to full in-state tuition, room/board* and books per year, renewable for four years! You must be admitted to the university by February 1st of your senior year to be considered.
