Celina, OH – On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the Wright State University–Lake Campus Police Academy celebrated the graduation of eleven cadets from the Wright State University–Lake Campus Police Academy. These cadets have endured over 700 hours of training since August 2024. Upon passage of the state certification exam, these cadets can be a law enforcement officer in any jurisdiction in Ohio.

Recently retired Auglaize County Prosecuting Attorney, Edwin Pierce, delivered an address to graduating cadets.

The academy is now enrolling cadets for the 2025-2026 year. Interested students can inquire to Mark Ernst, Academy Commander, at mark.ernst@wright.edu or 419-586-0319.
