A wide-range of non-credit courses are continual offered through the Business Enterprise Center These course topics can range from Microsoft Excel to Soldering. These courses are affordable, convenient, and sometimes virtual. Individuals and companies are encouraged to take advantage of these courses.
The SkillsTrac Program through the BEC has been a staple training program for over a decade at the Lake Campus. This program supports advanced manufacturing by providing a comprehensive industrial maintenance training program. Topics covered in this program include Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Automation Systems & Robotics, Maintenance Basics, Print Reading, Motor Controls, Hydraulics and more.
SkillsTrac is a blended self-paced program, offering online learning from ToolingU SME, a partner since 2009. Online classes can be taken anytime and anywhere with the hands-on validation labs taken on campus. Many local companies have enrolled their full-time maintenance technicians in this program. If desired program can earn a student up to 30 credit hours toward an associate of technical study at the Lake Campus.
