CELINA, OH - During an address to the graduating class of Lake Campus, Lucy Staugler reflected on her extensive journey and connection to the university. Staugler earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1979 and a master’s in mental health counseling in 1988. CELINA, OH - The Western Ohio Educational Foundation has announced scholarship recipients for the 2025-2026 academic year. This year 95 incoming and continuing Lake Campus students have been awarded 145 scholarships totaling over $165,000 for the upcoming academic year. Celina, OH – On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the Wright State University–Lake Campus Police Academy celebrated the graduation of eleven cadets from the Wright State University–Lake Campus Police Academy. These cadets have endured over 700 hours of training since August 2024. Upon passage of the state certification exam, these cadets can be a law enforcement officer in any jurisdiction in Ohio.

CELINA, OH – On Monday, March 3rd, while Lake Campus students were on Spring Break, the campus welcomed twenty-four area high school academic teams to campus for an Annual Scholastic Bowl. After seven rounds of pool play the field was narrowed down to sixteen teams for a playoff. The final four match ups included St. Marys versus Wapakoneta and Crestview versus Benjamin Logan.
