We are looking forward to meeting you at Orientation! This is such an exciting time, and we want to make sure you have everything you need to feel ready for your orientation and Fall Semester course registration.
What To Expect
Your orientation day kicks off with check-in and a quick tech setup, so we highly recommend activating your Wright State account ahead of time to ensure you can log in to WINGS account. After a joint welcome presentation from our Enrollment Services team, students and guests will head into separate sessions: students will meet with academic advisors for a group briefing and one-on-one Fall course registration, while guests attend a program tailored specifically for them. Because guests typically finish their session earlier and will have some downtime while students finalize their schedules, we suggest driving separately if you live nearby to allow for a more flexible departure.
What To Bring
- Your Login Credentials: Have your Wright State username and password ready. You’ll need these to log in to campus computers and register for your classes.
- Government-Issued Photo ID: To get your Wright1 Card (student ID), you must present a valid physical ID like a driver's license or passport.
- For those that do not have a driver's license or are under the age of 16, there are two different types of IDs a Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) can make you an ID.
- College Transcripts (CCP): If you earned College Credit Plus (CCP) credits through another institution and haven't officially submitted them yet, please bring a copy. Your advisor can use these to ensure you don't repeat classes.
- AP Scores: If you have taken AP exams, please bring your scores (if available) so your advisor can factor them into your fall schedule.
