Students

How to sign up for direct deposit:

  • Log in to WINGS Express.
  • Select the Student & Financial Aid tab.
  • Select Student Fees.
  • Select Set up Direct Deposit under Student Account Options.

For dates on when your financial aid will be disbursed to your student account, visit the Office of Financial Aid Important Dates page. The Office of the Bursar begins processing refunds two business days after financial aid is disbursed to the student account. Generally, refunds from excess financial aid are sent by direct deposit or by check to the student by the end of the second week of classes provided all requirements have been met.

How to deposit excess loan monies on your Wright1 Card financial aid flex account:

  • Log in to WINGS Express.
  • Select the Student & Financial Aid tab.
  • Select Wright1 Card and Meal Plan Services.
  • Select Wright1 FA Flex Deposit Using Financial Aid.

If this option is not available, deposits from financial aid can be made at RaiderConnect or Lake Campus Enrollment Services.

Parents

If the student’s account has a credit balance and the Parent PLUS Loan has an unused amount, the excess amount is mailed directly to the parent/borrower.

The university defines official withdrawals or drops as those processed by one of the following methods:

  • Online using the WINGS Express link via WINGS
  • In-person at RaiderConnect at the Dayton CAmpus or at the Office of Enrollment Services in Dwyer Hall at the Lake Campus.

University Refund Policy

Appeal procedures for tuition and late registration fees are available in Enrollment Services.

Financial Aid Drops and Withdrawals

Before making schedule changes, please consult with RaiderConnect or an enrollment services advisor to determine the impact on your financial aid. The majority of financial aid awards have enrollment status requirements you must meet and adhere to in order to be eligible to receive financial aid. Visit the Enrollment Changes and Return to Title IV for Federal Student Aid to learn more.

Cost Estimator

The cost estimator can provide students and families with an idea of the estimated expenses that could be incurred at Wright State University (minus any financial aid awards entered below) based on costs established for the selected academic term.

PLEASE NOTE: This cost estimator is intended for students to assess general undergraduate or graduate fees. Professional students, such as Boonshoft School of Medicine or School of Professional Psychology students, and students who are not assessed general undergraduate or graduate fees are encouraged to contact their school, college or academic department to obtain the costs and fees related to their program of study.
