Take the Next Step
Finding the right college means finding the right fit. See all that Wright State University–Lake Campus has to offer by visiting campus.
Wright State University recognizes disability as an aspect of diversity that is integral to society and to our campus community. For our Lake Campus students, we partner with the Dayton Campus ODS to provide accommodations to access the cirriculum. Accessibility is an essential feature of both Wright State campuses, and we strive to create an inclusive community for our students, faculty, staff, and guests. Over 800 students with ADD/ADHD, learning, medical, physical, and/or psychological disabilities participate in our programs across the two campuses.
To receive accommodations, students must complete a confidential registration process (separate from admissions):
Access your AIM online services portal to request services, send letters to faculty, schedule exams, acknowledge policies, and more! Check out our AIM tutorials to learn how to manage your accommodations 24/7.
To request reasonable accommodation per the ADA, you should self-disclose your request to ODS. To be eligible for services through ODS, you will be asked to provide supporting documentation of your disability.
Wright State University Lake Campus, in partnership with the State of Ohio's Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), is proud to be able to offer college-to-career services for our students with disabilities.
The Ohio College2Careers counselor is employed by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities but has an office at Lake Campus. The counselor's goal is to help students who are progressing and have completed their college degrees find jobs that are related to the courses that they are taking.
